All-time low post

With thanks to Velo News for the photo I nicked and absolutely no disrespect whatsoever meant to the World Champion cyclist Regina Schleicher, is it possible to see her ladies' bits in the podium photo? It could just be the fold in her chamois but it was enough for me to question it and snigger in an utterly childish manner.

Maybe I'm simply jealous because my genitals aren't visible through my bib-shorts (especially after a few hours on the saddle) but I felt it couldn't go without a mention. As an asides, hasn't she got marvellous legs? I guess you would expect a world class lady cyclist to have good legs but, even by those standards, Regina Schleicher's are exceptionally lovely legs indeed.

For anyone shaking his/her head at how awful this post is, just be glad I didn't make a pun title using her first name. I can be proud of myself for not doing that. Well, a bit.

A bit of a nutter

Recently, I've been a bit of a nutter. I've found the thought of going out cycling extremely daunting and I've only been out about once or twice a week. It's been difficult to motivate myself to go out even that small amount.

Given how big a part of my life cycling plays, you can imagine this creates havoc and problems aplenty for me. Can anyone suggest a way to get me back into it?

Nerdy superhero cycle jerseys

After basically advertising those Kraftwerk cycle jerseys, I thought it seemed rude to ignore the nerdy superhero cycle tops I've seen advertised at the side of Velo News lately. Also, I've not posted here for ages and thought it might be nice to let anyone who looks at this know I'm still alive.

Anyway, Pure Hero seems to sell Marvel themed cycle apparel. They have (I think overpriced) items relating to:

• Captain America
  
  
• The Fantastic Four
  
  
• Spider-Man (not entirely unlike the Gilberto Simoni spider jersey)
  
  
• The Punisher
  
  
• Venom (who I thought was more of a villain, most of the time at least, rather than a 'pure hero'. Not that I'm a pedantic pain in the arse or anything)

Some of them aren't strictly cycle jerseys at all but rather 'technical crew tops' ie. overpriced t-shirts which are supposed to get rid of your sweat but still end up smelly and have to be handwashed.
